Congrats to Rob Fletcher - Sport BC President's Award recipient

Rob Fletcher was presented with the President's Award for CKBC at the Sport BC awards on Thursday, March 11.

He was honoured for his long-time commitment to the sport in event management and administrative leadership at the club, provincial and national levels.

Among the many events he has helped succeed are the 2014 National Team Trials at the Rutherford Whitewater Park and the Pan Am Games as the supervisor of field of play. Rob worked extraordinarily long days at both events to ensure the race courses were in optimal condition for training and competition.  

Since 2011, Rob has been a valuable member of the Canoe Kayak Canada Whitewater Council, representing and advocating for B.C.’s whitewater program. 

His passion for the sport and raising its profile through his photography talents have been invaluable.
