Bring the classroom to the lake!

The CCE Paddling Club has been offering paddling opportunities to local schools and groups for over a decade. Our group lessons are fun, engaging, and students will come away having learned the basics of paddling so they can safely paddle at the lake. Discover an easy and cost-effective opportunity to have students experience a new sport! All required equipment is provided by CCE.

We do not currently have online registration available for school group lessons. Please contact us directly at ccekayak@gmail.com for information, costs, and forms.

 

Details

  • Youth Single Lesson Group Cost: $23/student (1 hour); $26/student (1.5 hours) 

    Youth Multiple Lessons Group Cost: $20/student (1 hour); $23/student (1.5 hours) 

    Cost includes insurance and all equipment (kayak, paddle, pfd) - one teacher or volunteer may join for free per 10 youth.

    Minimum booking fee: $276 + $10 booking fee - two instructors will be provided for max 16 youth.

  • Target ages for school group lessons are 8-17.

  • School group lessons will focus on Flatwater Levels 1-3 curriculum. Please contact us for more information.

  • All equipment is provided by CCE

What to expect

Example of a Wet Exit tutorial! Wet Exits are a crucial part of both flatwater and whitewater kayaking and an essential skill for enthusiasts of any level to know.
